National Association for Children of Addiction (NACoA) – Their mission is to eliminate the adverse impact of alcohol and drug use on children and families. We envision a world in which no child who struggles because of family addiction will be left unsupported. Donations can be made here.
Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County – Offers medically and culturally tailored food pantry services, transportation services, senior services, behavioral health services, resettlement services, and career/microenterprise services to the entire community. Donations can be made here.
Dawn Farm – Where I spent 25 years of my career providing long-term addiction treatment and recovery support for our most vulnerable community members. Donations can be made here.
Recovery Action Network of Michigan – Their mission is to empower individuals and families affected by addiction by providing a safe and supportive community where they can find hope, inspiration, resources and achieve long-term recovery. Donations can be made here.
Livonia Save Our Youth Coalition – A coalition of local parents, teens, educators, health care workers, law enforcement, the faith community and substance abuse professionals. We’re all here for different reasons but with a shared mission to educate and empower the community regarding the health and safety of our young people with a focus on alcohol and other drugs.
