The Raucous Caucus Recovery Choir:
“The idea is not just to help people recover, but also to reintegrate them in family life – so many relationships are distorted due to drug and alcohol abuse – as they change, become sober and move on. And to help the families affected by it.
“The choir meets every week on a Tuesday evening at SHARP and welcomes anyone who is 24-hours sober and abstinent.
“We have a core group of about 30 at the moment and a varied choice of programme.
Apparently, their membership includes family members and people recovering from other prblems like eating disorders. Where alcohol and other drugs are concerned, their membership is limited to people in abstinence-based recovery.
